Honor 90 5G Unveiled in India With MagicOS 7.1 and Android 13
After announcing its return to the Indian market, smartphone brand Honor is all set to launch a new smartphone in the country. The brand operating in India as Honor Tech recently confirmed that it will launch the Honor 90 5G smartphone this month.
Now, the brand announced that the upcoming device will run on MagicOS 7.1 with Android 13, a new operating system designed to provide a seamless user experience across platforms.
According to the company, this next-generation operating system enables seamless collaboration between devices and the ecosystem and provides an immersive and personalized experience for end consumers.
It is based on Android and PC and IoT operating systems, so devices using different operating systems can connect to MagicOS devices at the system level. In addition to new user interface changes, MagicOS 7.1 allows users to control their Honot laptop, smartphone and tablet with a single keyboard and mouse using HonorShare.
HonorShare allows Honor 90 5G users to transfer cross-system files between their Honor smartphone and PC using Honor Computer Manager. In addition, multi-screen collaboration allows users to share their screen, keyboard and mouse between different devices such as smartphones, tablets and laptops.
In addition, the new operating system includes a feature called MagicText, which intelligently recognizes text in an image and converts it into a file, maximizing productivity. MagicText allows users to effortlessly capture text with their camera and save it as a PDF file with a single tap.
According to reports, the Honor 90 5G is expected to feature a large 6.7-inch display, Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset and triple camera. Honor has yet to reveal the price, but according to reports, the price of the new Honor 90 could be around Rs 40,000.
The global version of Honor 90 features a 6.7-inch AMOLED display, weighs around 183 grams, comes with a triple rear camera system with a 200-megapixel main sensor, and a 5,000mAh battery that supports 66W wired fast charging.
